"Lets Talk About It" was created by Journie team member Tierney Parker and is now a spin off from Healing Circle Pt 1,2, and 3. The objective of "Lets Talk About It" is a series of events held each month by Journie to create a safe space within our community to have difficult conversations surrounding topics that can help our community become stronger and more connected through a healing process.

Tierney Parker will share her personal experience as a biracial women growing up in Rochester, MN. Tierney's biracial experience inspired her to create art and she's now the proud owner of Mixie Madness. Tierney's art pieces will be for sale and raffle at the event.

50% of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards publishing fees for Journie Alumni, Edna Ahmed. Edna is publishing her first book titled" Blackout With a Dash of Yellow". Journie is excited to assist Edna with following her dreams of becoming an Author. Edna will share a few poems from her unreleased book at the event also.

General Admission $10 - include free food and water

VIP Admission $20 - 21+ only / include free food, refreshments and raffle ticket

Bring a friend or two for an evening of smooth music, poetry, art, story telling and open dialog in an amazing atmosphere at Art Heads Emporium. It's a vibe you wont want to miss!
