To advance its community health-equity goal, Diversity Council, supported by Rochester Clinic Lotus Health Foundation and Boys & Girls Club of Rochester, is hosting the first in a series of events to encourage groups of diverse cultural, spiritual and faith traditions to sample each other's plant-based recipes.

Why plant-based food for this pot-luck event? First, we believe that it leads to better heath. And it can be enjoyed by all cultures and faith traditions--meaning it is inclusive.

In this event, you will learn about life-style management that leads to better health, open you palate to other group's plant-based recipe as well as having a chance to voice any healthy-living concerns.

Activities include:

  • Cooking demonstration
  • Lifestyle healthcare presentation
  • Q/A
