Come join United Way of Olmsted County and partners from around the community to gain professional training in 2-1-1, the state-wide information and referral resource that unites people with the community and government resources they need. In this workshop designed specifically for housing and shelter providers, you will learn strategies and best practices for using 2-1-1 to benefit not only the people you serve, but your organization, and the Olmsted County community as a whole. Housing and shelter services are the most requested referral of 2-1-1 callers in our community. When you keep your 2-1-1 listing accurate and up to date, 2-1-1 will help you to connect with the people who need you most. And when you use 2-1-1 to refer your clients to other needed services, you help to ensure that they reach the right resource, right away.
