Olmsted County has started to receive settlement funds through the State of Minnesota, which has signed onto several national settlements with opioid manufacturers and distributors.

The commissioners allotted $11.3 million to the following initiatives: Development of affordable home ownership programs - $4.9 million. Groundwater protection and soil health program - $2 million. Development of Graham Park exhibition center - $4.4 million. 2. Olmsted County’s latest video provides insight into how we are using nearly $31 million in federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Mayo Clinic is now accepting applications for a new Social Innovation Grant poised to address health care disparities in Olmsted County. Visit the Mayo Clinic Community Engagement page for application materials and additional information. Applications are due July 31, 2023.
