A CALL TO ACTION FROM THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING GROUP!:

If you are concerned about the current and future lack of affordable workforce housing in Rochester, we are asking that you email your city council representative now, to let them know you support the recommendations of the Inclusionary Housing report by Grounded Solutions.

You will find a link/button on the city website to email your council member:

http://www.rochestermn.gov/government/city-council/council-members

It’s important that each email is individualized, so we are recommending you include the following information:

1.       Use a personal story; for example, maybe you or someone you know has had trouble finding affordable workforce housing.

2.      Send it to all of the city council members and the mayor (there is a button on the website which will send to all).

3.      Ask them to adopt the recommendations of the report as presented by Grounded Solutions and in the levels recommended in the report.
